I am 66 years old and still going strong.I work full time as an RN in an intensive care setting at night, 7 pm to 7 am.

A lot of my shifts I am the lone nurse and with so many alarms, some I couldn't even hear no matter how close I was as they were out of my frequency range, my days were numbered in my career, simply because of my hearing loss. So, after a hearing test and receiving my aids, all this has changed. Derrick took a lot of time with me and did a fantastic job. I have the top of the line from Beltone and will never be without them.

I can even hear the crickets at night, after so many years.Tony Ricchiuti, RN, BSN.

Difficult to believe an RN with significant hearing loss would be allowed to be employed (a lone nurse???) in an Intensive Care unit. Strains credulity.
